This is the fourth in Freeman´s Sheriff Lucian Wing series and pure pleasure to read. The only fault being that you can read this small book in an afternooon and are left with deep disappointment that you cannot follow the ambiguous, tongue-in - cheek dialogues of the protagonists any longer.

Sheriff Wing discovers a young runaway couple in the woods and he finds out that sinister people try to get hold of the girl. But, unlike the criminals from the city, the Sheriff knows the lay of the land and the mind of his people, and so he solves the problem in his own very special way, without any violence.
