The Whisper of the Dead
This is the third thriller featuring David Hunter, a London based forensics expert. When he is invited to “The Body Farm” in the States by his former mentor, he is glad to escape from all the troubling memories that haunt him in London.
I have missed the two first Hunter books and these troubling memories and have to confess that the story cannot convince me to read more then 50 pages.
The most interesting part certainly is the suspicion, with which the American colleagues treat this British expert, but all the gruesome details of yet another serial killer on the loose are just too much.
